What We Collect
Local Data (Stays on Your Device)
Your configured bedtime window and wake target
Sleep session records (times you activated Landing Mode or Night Pass)
Morning check-in responses (how rested you felt)
App usage samples for timeboxing detection (package names and durations)
Analytics Data (Sent to Firebase)
Anonymous app events: which features you use, when you complete onboarding, whether Landing Mode is activated (no names, no sleep duration, no location)
Crash reports: device type, Android version, stack trace at the point of crash (no personal information is included in crash reports)
What We Do NOT Collect
Your name, email address, or phone number
Location data
Health data from Google Health Connect in beta (integration is planned but reads are not yet used for any analytics)
Any data from other apps on your device
Why We Collect It
Crash reports: To identify and fix bugs before public launch (legitimate interest)
Analytics events: To understand whether core features work as intended (legitimate interest, minimal data, beta testing purpose)
Data Retention
Beta analytics data is retained for a maximum of 90 days from the end of the beta program. After that, Firebase project data is deleted or anonymized.
Local data on your device remains until you uninstall the app or use Settings → Delete My Data.
Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU or EEA, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of your data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw from the beta program at any time

Changes to This Policy
This beta privacy policy applies only during the testing period. A full production privacy policy will be published before public launch.
